Thinking of the pending Government bailout
it is all I can do to not stand up and shout!
I know that our economy is in big trouble
maybe it's time to burst the big bubble.

Why should we the people pay the price
so corparate execs can keep living nice.
Should I stop paying my creditors in haste
throw all my debt to the big toxic waste.

I know in the long run some help is needed
but the voice of the people should be heeded.
In this day though the people have no voice
to sit back and take it is our only real choice.

I guess we could always start a new revolution
and then we could rewrite the old constitution.
If we keep our course in this country unchanged
from our Government the people will be estranged.
